Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara A. Leaf will attend the Manama Dialogue in Bahrain on December 6-8. At the Dialogue, the Assistant Secretary will deliver remarks and meet with foreign counterparts to discuss efforts to promote peace and prosperity in the region.
On December 8, Assistant Secretary Leaf will travel to Jordan to meet with senior officials to underscore the strength of the United States-Jordan strategic partnership and our 75 years of diplomatic relations. The Assistant Secretary will also meet with U.S. embassy staff in Amman to thank them for their dedication to keeping the vital bilateral partnership between the United States and Jordan strong.
