The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) is seeking to appoint three Members to the Board of the Northern Ireland Fishery Harbour Authority (NIFHA).
NIFHA is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body sponsored by DAERA. It has a statutory responsibility for the improvement, management and maintenance of the three fishery harbours at Ardglass, Kilkeel and Portavogie.
DAERA Minister Andrew Muir said: "NIFHA plays an essential role in managing, maintaining and improving the fishery harbours and harbour estates in Ardglass, Kilkeel and Portavogie. In doing so, NIFHA has an important role in supporting the NI fishing industry through the provision of safe and sustainable harbours and maintaining healthy seas and thriving seafood communities.
"As a new member of NIFHA's board you will play a key role in setting the strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring that there are effective governance and oversight arrangements in place, resources are effectively deployed and that key organisational priorities are effectively delivered."
Completed applications must be returned to the Department by noon on Thursday 24 September 2026.
