City of Toronto 2026 Budget media briefing
The City of Toronto will hold a media briefing with Paul Johnson, City Manager, and Stephen Conforti, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, to discuss the 2026 staff-prepared operating and capital budgets.
Date: Thursday, January 8
Time: 3 p.m.
Location: Members’ Lounge, City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.
The City of Toronto’s Budget Committee will meet tomorrow at 11 a.m. to launch the 2026 Capital and Operating Budget (agenda (https://secure.toronto.ca/council/#/committees/2562/27152)). The meeting will be livestreamed on the City’s Toronto City Council YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7ar1sO_AT8.
Budget notes, briefing notes and presentations will be available on the Toronto City Council & Committee Meetings webpage (https://secure.toronto.ca/council/#/committees/2562/27152) following the Budget Committee meeting on Thursday, January 8.
