We welcome authors from all over the world as we host European Literature Festival for the first time at the Library later this month, and take a literary trip to the Pink City, as Jaipur Literature Festival returns this June.

European Writers’ Festival – The Stories We Tell

The two-day festival invites the very best in the world of European literature to gather for one unmissable weekend. Our dazzling line-up includes award-winning Ukrainian writer and historian Olena Stiazhkina, and British-born Cypriot poet and writer Anthony Anaxagorou. There will also be appearances from David Guez, Caroline Lamarche and Chitra Ramaswamy among others.
Over the weekend there will be panels and performances that delve into the literature and big ideas defining their countries and Europe today.

We’re gearing up for a packed weekend of conversations as the London edition of Jaipur Literature Festival returns, inviting the world’s leading writers and speakers and bringing the Library alive with words, books, music and food. Venki Ramakrishnan, Anu Singh Choudhary, Nikesh Shukla, Marcus du Sautoy, Sathnam Sanghera, Alice Loxton, Jonathan Freedland and Usha Uthupare just some of the guests you can expect this year.
