Ecosantagata Althea Racing archivia un primo round di assestamento e guarda agli aspetti positivi nonostante una partenza in salita.
Con un assetto completamente nuovo e due piloti al debutto nel Mondiale Supersport contro piloti già esperti, Althea si trova ad affrontare l’inaspettato a causa di un crash che ha tenuto Biesiekirski unfit al box, e diversi problemi tecnici che hanno impedito ad Antonelli di prendere le giuste misure.
Senza Superpole, senza esperienza, con diversi problemi in gara1 e con una gara due accorciata per ritardi dovuti a olio in pista, è stato davvero duro per Antonelli esprimere il suo potenziale nel week end del debutto.
I tempi in pista, comunque da top ten, parlano chiaro. Non resta che utilizzare il mese di pausa per lavorare e fare qualche test in modo da raccogliere informazioni e fiducia e, allo stesso tempo allentare la pressione.
Ecosantagata Althea Racing archives a first round of adjustment and looks at the positive aspects despite an uphill start.
With a completely new set-up and two riders making their debut in World Supersport against already experienced riders, Althea finds itself facing the unexpected due to a crash that kept Biesiekirski unfit in the garage, and several technical problems that prevented Antonelli from taking the right measures.
Without Superpole, without experience, with several issues in race one and a shortened race two due to delays for oil on the track, it was really hard for Antonelli to express his potential on his debut weekend.
The laps on the track, in any case with top ten values, speak for themselves. All that remains is to use the month’s break to work and do some tests in order to gather information and confidence and, at the same time, ease the pressure.
Dopo i test eravamo fiduciosi ma a volte capitano delle cose imprevedibili e il fine settimana non è partito nel migliore dei modi. Abbiamo avuto un problema tecnico e siamo partiti ultimi in griglia
Peccato perché sarebbero potute essere due gare ben diverse in cui avremmo potuto raccogliere qualcosa in pù, soprattuto in gara2.
Intanto abbiamo fatto esperienza e siamo partiti. Per Barcellona ci aspettiamo un bel passo avanti.
After the tests we were confident but sometimes unpredictable things happen and the weekend didn’t start in the best way. We had a technical problem so we started last in the grid.
It’s a shame because they could have been two very different races in which we could have gained something more, especially in race 2.
In the meantime we gained experience and left. For Barcelona we expect a good step forward.
Non è stato il fine settimana che ci aspettavamo, ma almeno fisicamente sto bene e tutto è ok.
Abbiamo perso un round ma almeno non mi serve molto tempo per riprendermi completamente.
Sarò in sella entro brevissimo e faremo un po’ di pratica.
Si tratta solo di aspettare Barcellona, ??una pista che mi piace e con cui ho già una certa esperienza. Non vedo l’ora che arrivi la prossima gara.
Not the week end we expected but at least physically fine and everything is ok.
So we lost one round but at least I do not need much time to recover fully. We will be on the bike in no time and getting some more experience. It’s just a question of looking forward to Barcelona, a track that I like and I already have some experience with. I can’t wait for the for the next race.
Con l’infortunio di Piotr Biesiekirski (per fortuna è già tutto a posto), abbiamo perso un pilota per il week end, mentre a causa di problemi tecnici abbiamo avuto difficoltà con l’altro.
Questo primo round è iniziato in salita e si è concluso con tante difficoltà, anche in virtù di una gara due molto accorciata che non ha consentito ad Antonelli di recuperare come era nelle sue potenzialità.
Devo dire che questi due ragazzi, entrambi al debutto in questa categoria, se è vero che devono prendere le misure, hanno però lo spirito giusto perché li ho visti sempre con atteggiamento positivo e costruttivo.
Abbiamo un po’ di strada da fare per raggiungere la competitività che ci aspettiamo ma abbiamo anche un mese di tempo per lavorarci su.
In Spagna le cose saranno già diverse rispetto a questo w.e. Stiamo già lavorando tutti affinché le cose cambino.
With Piotr Biesiekirski’s injury (luckily everything is already in order), we lost one rider for the weekend, while due to technical problems we had difficulties with the other.
This first round started uphill and ended with many difficulties, also due to a very shortened race two which did not allow Antonelli to recover to his potential.
I must say that these two guys, both making their debut in this category, while it is true that they have to take measures, they have the right spirit because I have always seen them with a positive and constructive attitude.
We have a bit of a way to go to reach the competitiveness we expect but we also have a month to work on it.
In Spain things will already be different compared to this weekend. We are all already working to make things change.
