Dual Plumbing (Alternate Water Systems) Ordinance
On December 6, 2022, City Council will be asked to consider the Alternate Water Systems (Dual Plumbing) Ordinance. Beginning July 1, 2023, the Ordinance would require certain new large commercial (nonresidential) development to install separate additional piping systems that could be utilized for the reuse of gray water for end uses such as subsurface irrigation, or toilet and urinal flushing.
