Rise of antisemitism and anti-Muslim hatred in Europe*
From around 15.00, MEPs will debate with Commissioner Schinas and Belgian Foreign Minister Lahbib the worrying reports on the increase in hate-driven anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim incidents online and offline across the EU, and how the EU can address them.

Risks and threats to the rule of law in Greece*
In a vote at 12.30, Parliament will take stock of threats to EU values in Greece, with emphasis on media freedom and the safety of journalists, anticorruption, judicial independence and the treatment of migrants and asylum-seekers.

“This is Europe” debate with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis*
At 11.00, Romanian President Iohannis will present to MEPs his vision on Europe’s challenges and future. EP President Metsola and President Iohannis will have a bilateral meeting before his speech in plenary. A short press point with both is scheduled for 10.50 [10] .

In brief*
Hate speech, disinformation and the role of social platforms. *In this session’s topical debate, from 13.30, MEPs will discuss with Commissioner Breton and Belgian Foreign Minister Lahbib how the Digital Services Act can be used to adequately tackle hate speech and disinformation.
Human rights in Belarus, Iran and Nigeria. *In the evening, MEPs will discuss with Commissioner Dalli the new wave of mass arrests in Belarus of opposition activists, the increased number of executions in Iran, and the attacks on Christians in Nigeria. Three resolutions will be put to a vote on Thursday.
EU priorities ahead of the UN Commission on the Status of Women*. Around 17.00, plenary is set to call on Commissioner Dalli to put the focus on women’s poverty and access to decision-making, ahead of the 68th UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York in March.

Between 12.30 and 13.30, MEPs will vote, among other things, on:
draft legislation on plants created by new genomic techniques (NGT); new EU rules to ensure bank transfers in euro arrive in the recipient’s account in maximum 10 seconds; new limit values for lead and diisocyanates; Norway’s recent decision to advance seabed mining in the Arctic; and amendments to the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) and to the Directive relating to undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITSD).
