(AGENPARL) – BRUXELLES gio 11 maggio 2023 The United Kingdom (UK) has been, in cash terms, one of the biggest supporters of Ukraine since Russia launched its war in February 2022. It is clear that the UK and EU are aligned on the need to respond to Russia’s aggression and support Ukraine, and that informal coordination has strengthened their collective efforts. Since the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, however, there is no formal framework for relations in the foreign policy field. It remains to be seen whether common efforts on Ukraine, together with recent improvement in broader EU-UK relations through agreement on the Windsor Framework, herald a meaningful new chapter in EU-UK relations.
