The government is more
than halfway to its goal,
with 873 net new healthcare workers hired for
hospitals and health
centres in five months.
Since January 2024,
Manitobans have paid the
lowest gas prices and had
the lowest inflation rates in
Canada thanks to the gas
tax cut, which the
government is extending
until the end of the year to
keep saving money for
Manitobans.
By growing the low-carbon
economy and investing in
Manitoba, the government
has added thousands of
jobs to the province
including 3,100 jobs in
June.
Right now, every child in a
Manitoba has access to a
nutritious meal or snack in
school whenever they
need one.
Partnering with the
Assembly of Manitoba
Chiefs, the province is in
the process of recruiting
workers to conduct this

and Marcedes home.

Government welcomed
hundreds of Manitobans
into the legislative building
in December 2023 for the
first Holiday Open House
since the pandemic.
The government added a
new MLA into caucus with
the Tuxedo byelection.
The government is
reviewing all spending to
ensure it can continue to
support Manitoba families
and provide the services
people depend on, while
staying on the path to
balance in 2027-28.

Thompson and the
surrounding northern

Signed a memorandum of
understanding with the
Seal River Watershed
Alliance, Indigenous
nations and government of
Canada to formally work
together on a feasibility
assessment to establish a
