Siamo davvero onorati di ospitare questo incontro, organizzato nel
contesto dell’evento europeo più prestigioso dedicato all’IA.
La European Conference on Machine Learning and Principle and
Practise of Knowledge Discovery è sicuramente la migliore
occasione per discutere della situazione attuale dell’AI e delle sue
potenziali prospettive.
Intesa Sanpaolo sta investendo risorse significative in quest’area,
poiché il nostro Gruppo considera l’IA uno strumento
estremamente potente, che diventerà una componente essenziale
del nostro modo di lavorare e di fare business.
Abbiamo avviato diverse iniziative per valutare adeguatamente
l’utilizzo dell’IA in diversi contesti, dal credito alla gestione delle
risorse umane, all’assistenza ai nostri clienti.
Adotteremo l’IA con la massima attenzione ai principi di
correttezza e sorveglianza, perché siamo consapevoli dell’elevata
sensibilità di questa materia.
Inoltre, stiamo investendo molte risorse per utilizzare l’IA nella
lotta al crimine finanziario, dove può essere un fattore di svolta,
come emergerà chiaramente in questo workshop. Questo
approccio è coerente con la vocazione del nostro Gruppo alla
responsabilità sociale, che è un elemento di orgoglio per Intesa
Sanpaolo.
Sono certo che questa giornata sarà una grande occasione per
discutere a fondo di questo tema, vista l’altissima qualità dei
relatori e dei partecipanti.

We are really honoured to host this meeting, which has been
organized in the context of the most prestigious event in Europe
dedicated to AI.
The European Conference on Machine Learning and Principle and
Practise of Knowledge Discovery is, for sure, the very best
opportunity to debate on current situation of AI and its potential
perspectives.
Intesa Sanpaolo is investing significant resources in this area, as
our Group considers AI an extremely powerful tool, which will
become an essential component of our way of working and doing
business. We have launched several initiatives to properly assess
the use of AI in a variety of contexts, from lending to management
of human resources, and our clients’ assistance. We will adopt AI
with the utmost attention to the principles of fairness and
oversight, as we are very aware of the high sensitivity of this
matter.
Moreover, we are investing many resources to use AI in the fight
against financial crime, where it can be a gamechanger, as it will
clearly emerge in this workshop. This approach is consistent with
the vocation of our Group towards social responsibility, which is
an element of pride for Intesa Sanpaolo.
I am sure that this day will be a great opportunity to thoroughly
discuss this topic, considering the very high quality of the speakers
and the participants.
