The launch of the Global Innovation Index 2025 is almost here!

On September 16, the 18th edition of the Global Innovation Index (GII) (https://wipo.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=ebfb4bd1ae698020adc01a4ce&id=a3867bc677&e=33ca93a169) will be unveiled during a hybrid event (https://wipo.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=ebfb4bd1ae698020adc01a4ce&id=387a1443ce&e=33ca93a169) featuring Heads of State and Government – including H.E. José Raúl Mulino, President of Panama, and H.E. Bart De Wever, Prime Minister of Belgium – alongside other distinguished leaders.
At this launch, we will reveal who is leading in global innovation, benchmarking the innovation performance of nearly 140 economies across 80+ indicators, providing a comprehensive view of global innovation strengths and weaknesses.
This year’s panel, “Innovation at a Crossroads: Charting the Future,” explores how global realignments, breakthrough technologies, and evolving regulations are reshaping how ideas emerge, spread, and scale.
