You are invited to (re-) discover the Magritte Museum in preview on Friday 06/10 at 11am.
A press conference will precede the press visit.
With Thomas Dermine, Federal Secretary of State for Science Policy, Arnaud Vajda, Chairman of the Management Board of Belspo, Charly Herscovici, Chairman of the Magritte Foundation, Francisca Vandepitte, Senior Curator of the Modern Art collection of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium & Sara Lammens, Acting Director General of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
After 6 months of light renovation, the Magritte Museum, flagship of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, will re-open its doors to the public from all over the world on Saturday 7 October. Since it opened in 2009, the Museum has welcomed more than 4 million visitors, who have come to admire the world's largest collection of works by the famous Belgian surrealist.
