An advantage of the WIPO Awards is also the mentoring. I’ve been in IP for the last over ten years, and we had a workshop yesterday, and I still learned something new.
Mike Strano, Co-Founder: SMEs embrace IP and leverage it for investment and finance. I think it’s very important to see, to acknowledge these SMEs in terms of how they are engaging with IP and to award them and encourage, which will encourage others to look more seriously at IP as an asset.
