ITA Airways obtains the renewal of its IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration
Rome, 4th March 2024 – ITA Airways proudly announces that it has obtained the renewal of its IATA
Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration, a program of the International Air Transport Association, IATA,
created to assess an airline’s operational management and control systems. This registration, issued by
organizations accredited by IATA, assess conformance with international standards in terms of IOSA
Standards & Recommended Practices, which are recognized and accepted worldwide.
After slightly more than two years from the start of its operations, the Italian flagship carrier confirms the
conformance of its internal processes with the world’s highest aviation safety standards.
ITA Airways would like to thank IATA, which played a crucial role in the Company’s commercial start-up, for
its continued helpfulness and fruitful cooperation, indispensable to face the everyday challenges in the air
transport sector.
