(AGENPARL) – LUXEMBOURG mar 13 giugno 2023
The ceremony marks the closing of this mooting season by bringing together the Uni.lu Moot Court Community consisting of students, coaches, professors and Clifford Chance’s representatives and lawyers. This event is an opportunity to celebrate not only the teams’ achievements throughout the year but also the continued partnership between the University of Luxembourg and Clifford Chance Luxembourg.
Katia Gauzès, Office Managing Partner at Clifford Chance Luxembourg and Professor Herwig Hofmann, Head of the Department of Law, welcomed all participants by highlighting the significance of this mooting experience in legal training. During the ceremony, Dr. Susana Muñoz, Moot Court Coordinator at the University of Luxembourg, spotlighted the challenges and successes of this year’s Moot Court season. During her speech, Dr. Muñoz expressed what a privilege it has been to witness the progress of the students, to see them grow and gain moot-specific skills in complex case analysis, research, legal writing, oral advocacy, and teamwork. “This is a competition, but please remember that the non-competitive dimensions of mooting are the most important and meaningful”, she continued.
The Uni.lu Moot Court students were awarded a Certificate of Appreciation signed by Professor Katalin Ligeti, Dean of the FDEF, in recognition of their contribution to the following Moot Court Competitions:
