2024 has been a phenomenal year. The James Joyce Centre was honoured to host an incredible amount of events and shows thanks to our wonderful community. We are thankful for your continuous support and enthusiasm. We are looking forward to more activities and fun in the coming year.
Donations help us keep our events free and open to as many people as possible while also paying artists, performers, filmmakers, musicians, graphic designers, academics, and the staff. In this season of giving, please consider a donation to help us maintain and expand our programme in 2025 and beyond.
From all the staff at the James Joyce Centre, we wish you a Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.

2024 Highlights
This year the Bloomsday Festival included more than 100 events in Dublin with more than 10,000 visitors from more than 50 countries. Several articles and news segments were dedicated to the festival, including from The Irish Times, Irish Independent, RTÉ, Dublin Gazette, The Journal, and Irish Central. We also received coverage from media in the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Latvia, India, France, Germany, Croatia, Canada, Spain, and Greece, among other countries.
Our events this year were diverse in their scope and focus and supported new and established artists, musicians, and writers, through hosting book launches, poetry, play and prose readings along with other artistic performances of music and dance. Additionally, the Joyce Centre extended its reach into the community with the intent of creating new inclusive and diverse audiences for the work of James Joyce by working with and supporting city wide and national programmes.
The James Joyce Centre is supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
