Carnegie Award-winning author Jason Reynolds ( https://britishlibraryemails.bl.uk/c/AQiz6A8Q19Z4GOmfuwUgnInnG9Dg6mB2D9wKUS4WaAYubp0SVvu8w3HD2HJO-klQ9mK6 ) will be in conversation with musician, author and broadcaster Jordan Stephens ( https://britishlibraryemails.bl.uk/c/AQiz6A8Q19Z4GOmfuwUgnYnnGwcBNUDuRkzJS-H71veugLqfdDWG54Skyg04WprlULr0 ) for a discussion inspired by Jason’s latest YA novel Twenty-Four Seconds From Now. The book is described as a ‘tender, sweet, wholesome piece of fiction exploring how to approach first sex, how to respect women, how to be gentle, how to make it about love.’
The event is recommended for students in years 10 – 13 and will feature themes of masculinity, sex and relationships in an age-appropriate discussion.
