17 September, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will notify in writing three judgments concerning Germany, Serbia and Switzerland.
17 September, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will deliver its ruling in the case of Pindo Mulla v. Spain at a public hearing (11 a.m.).
The case concerns blood transfusions administered to the applicant, a Jehovah’s Witness, during emergency surgery, despite her refusal to undergo a blood transfusion of any kind (full blood, red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets or blood plasma).
The delegation is due to meet the President of the Republic, the Deputy Prime Minister on European Integration, the Speaker of the Parliament, the main presidential candidates, the Chairperson and members of the Central Electoral Commission, as well as representatives of civil society and the media. The delegation will issue a statement at the end of the visit.
A full delegation will travel to the Republic of Moldova to observe the elections alongside other international observers, on 20 October.
18 September, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will hold a Grand Chamber hearing in the case Mansouri v. Italy at a public hearing (9.15 am).
This case concerns the lawfulness and conditions of a Tunisian national’s confinement on board the ship being used to remove him to the country from which he had arrived on the basis of a refusal-of-entry order issued by the border police.
19 September, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will notify in writing nine judgments and/or decisions concerning Azerbaijan, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Serbia and the United Kingdom.
