Museo Civico e Gipsoteca Bistolfi: tradotte in
inglese le pagine del sito internet
L’assessore Fracchia: «Grazie all’ottimo lavoro di Beatrice Cavagnolo,
finalmente possiamo offrire a tutti i turisti un servizio importantissimo»
I contenuti delle pagine internet dedicate al Museo Civico e Gipsoteca Bistolfi di Casale Monferrato
sono ora disponibili anche in lingua inglese. Il merito è di Beatrice Cavagnolo, la ragazza che sta
svolgendo il Servizio Civile Universale in via Cavour, 5.
«Dopo aver proposto una serie di visite guidate in inglese lo scorso settembre – ha ricordato
l’assessore Gigliola Fracchia -, Beatrice ha messo a disposizione le proprie competenze
linguistiche per un lavoro estremamente importante per il nostro Museo: la traduzione dei contenuti
del sito internet dedicato alle collezioni casalesi. Un grazie quindi a Beatrice, con la speranza che
terminato questa esperienza, che l’ha vista impegnata in molti progetti, possa proseguire a
collaborare con noi su altri progetti».
Beatrice Cavagnolo, che ha conseguito il Celta (Certificate in English Language Teaching to
Adults) lo scorso anno, ha tradotto le cinque principali sezioni del mini sito http://www.comune.casale-
monferrato.al.it/museo dedicate alle informazioni, alla Pinacoteca, alla Gipsoteca, alla Sala Vidua e
alla storia, garantendo così la fruizione delle pagine anche ai turisti stranieri.

Civic Museum and Gipsoteca Bistolfi : the Museum’s
webpages translated into English
Council member Fracchia had this to say: «Thanks to the good work of Beatrice
Cavagnolo, we can finally offer this great service to tourists»
The contents of the webpages for the Civic Museum and Gipsoteca Bistolfi of Casale Monferrato
are now available in English. The credit goes to Beatrice Cavagnolo, the young woman who is
working as part of the Servizio Civile Universale initiative at our Museum (Via Cavour, 5).
«After offering a series of guided tours in English last September – added council member Gigliola
Fracchia -, Beatrice has volunteered her language expertise for an extremely important project:
translating the webpages dedicated to our collections. We are grateful for her work and
participation in many Museum’s activities, and we hope that once her contract is over next month,
she will still be able to collaborate on future ventures».
Beatrice Cavagnolo, who completed the Celta last year, has translated the five main sections
dedicated to the Museum at http://www.comune.casale-monferrato.al.it/EN/museo, specifically the ones
regarding Museum’s accessibility informations and updates, the Pinacoteca, the Gipsoteca, Carlo
Vidua’s exhibition and the Museum’s history, so that even foreign turists are now able to fully enjoy
and experience our art collections and culture.
