Press release 31-01-2025 EUDS   None [2] First meeting of EP’s special committee on the European Democracy Shield
On Monday, the new special Committee on the European Democracy Shield will elect its chair and vice-chairs and launch its activities.
The primary responsibility of the new special committee on the European Democracy Shield [3] (EUDS) will be to assess the existing and planned EU toolbox under the light of potential malicious interference in democratic processes, including the upcoming European Democracy Shield, with a view to propose tangible solutions and improve overall institutional resilience.
