As negotiations are still ongoing, a new timing for today’s press conference will be announced shortly.
Co-rapporteurs Brando Benifei (S&D, IT) and Drago? Tudorache (Renew, RO) will answer questions from journalists on the outcome of negotiations on the Artificial Intelligence Act.
When*: Thursday, 7 December, TBC

Background*
The legislation, would be the first framework governing AI systems in the world. It aims to ensure AI protects fundamental rights, democracy, the rule of law and environmental sustainability, while boosting innovation and making Europe a leader in the field.
