(Acs) Perugia, 9 febbraio 2023 – “Dopo Corciano, anche il punto vendita
Grancasa di Spello sembra in difficoltà. Per questo è necessario un colpo
di reni della Regione, per prendere in mano la vertenza e impostare nuove
politiche attive del lavoro, con percorsi di accompagnamento alla pensione,
oltre che incentivi finalizzati al ricollocamento del personale”. Così la
capogruppo regionale del Partito democratico, Simona Meloni, in merito
“all’allarme lanciato dal sindaco di Spello Landrini e chiedendo alla
Regione che si faccia carico della vertenza, considerando la difficoltà di
ricollocamento dei 25 dipendenti tutti con un’età media di 50 anni”.
“La perdita dell’occupazione di altre 25 persone – spiega Meloni –
sarebbe l’ennesima mazzata all’economia umbra che, al netto di tanti
roboanti annunci o di pochi colossi, sta lasciando sul terreno diverse
realtà. Per questo occorre che il Governo regionale faccia la propria parte,
con impegno e coraggio, mettendo in campo misure urgenti tese a sostenere i
lavoratori in uscita con adeguati strumenti e opportune tutele. Servono
strumenti di accompagnamento alla pensione – continua Simona Meloni – per
permettere ai lavoratori di affrontare l’espulsione dal ciclo produttivo in
maniera meno traumatica possibile. Auspico quindi – conclude – che si
lavori per potenziare le dotazioni finanziarie a disposizione e anche per
ripensare nuove politiche attive del lavoro più in linea con queste nuove
pressanti esigenze, a partire da quelle dei lavoratori di Grancasa”. RED/mp

PRESS RELEASE2023-049-ENMumbai, 8 February 2023European Investment Bank confirms EUR 150 million backing for Pune metro networkIndia largest beneficiary of EIB transport financing outside EuropeEIB provided EUR 2.45 billion for transport across India since 2016Scheme to help cut pollution and carbon emissions, create jobs and improve safety of women passengersKris Peeters, Vice President of the European Investment Bank and Shri Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director of Maharastra Metro Rail Corporation, today confirmed a EUR 150 million 20-year loan to support construction of Pune city`s metro rail. This will improve travel for more than three million people living in the city of Pune. The EIB support for transport in India includes EIB backing for metro investment in Agra, Bangalore, Bhopal, Kanpur and Lucknow, with a total of EUR 2.45 billion committed since 2016, making India the largest beneficiary of EIB transport financing outside Europe.The EIB’s total financing of EUR 500 million backs 31.25 km of metro construction with 30 stations to benefit 159 million passengers per year. It will shorten travel time, create affordable and accessible transport for all, improve the quality of life and doing business, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the city. A set of targeted measures will improve safety of woman travelers. Once completed in 2023 the Pune metro will create at least 900 new jobs; the project is co-financed together with Agence Française de Développement (AFD). This project, supporting sustainable transport and climate action, forms part of the EU’s Global Gateway Initiative in support of projects that improve global and regional connectivity in the digital, climate, transport, health, energy and education sectors. Kris Peeters, Vice President of the European Investment Bank said: “The EIB backed Pune metro rail will facilitate, once completed, travel by more than 3 million people living in the city of Pune.
