Ugl Matera a sostegno della richiesta dei vescovi per il bonus gas anche alle parrocchie.
Il Segretario Provinciale dell’Ugl Matera, Pino Giordano in una nota fa sapere che l’O.S. è favorevole e a sostegno della legittima richiesta dei Vescovi per il bonus gas anche alle parrocchie.
Per il sindacalista, “riteniamo giusto che venga elargito e riconosciuto un contributo sulle bollette delle utenze domestiche dei residenti nella Regione Basilicata inglobando, anche tutte le chiese e i locali annessi come oratori e aule adibite al catechesi dei fedeli. Giusto è, estendere lo sconto sulle bollette del gas alle parrocchie, dove noi cattolici praticanti – prosegue Giordano –, quotidianamente, constatiamo le crescenti difficoltà economiche che i parroci hanno a pagare le utenze a causa del caro prezzi e dalle risicate offerte dei fedeli che, concausa della pandemia, sono sempre meno a frequentare le parrocchie. All’Assessore all’Ambiente e all’Energia della Regione Basilicata, Cosimo Latronico, l’Ugl Matera chiede di poter rivedere la legge sulle misure regionali di compensazione ambientale per la transizione energetica: giusto ampliare la platea degli aventi diritto al contributo sulle bollette delle utenze domestiche dei residenti nella Regione Basilicata alle chiese e locali annessi come oratori e aule adibite al catechesi dei fedeli. Il costo delle bollette è salito alle stelle anche per la chiesa: non trascuriamo il dato che sul territorio, le Caritas sono parrocchiali, attivamente sempre impegnate nel dare aiuto nel bisogno attraverso un servizio di distribuzione pasti caldi, pacchi con generi alimentari e beni di prima necessità alle tante famiglie in difficoltà”. Secondo Giordano, “è giunto il momento di garantire anche la Chiesa la quale offre la massima protezione sociale per tutti, in salute ed economica in emergenze profondamente intrecciate e che con il Coronavirus e il caro bollette sono drammaticamente in primo piano. Le Parrocchie materane garantiscono a tutti i cittadini nel territorio della nostra Provincia e in special modo ai poveri, ogni protezione sociale. Quando la Chiesa chiama, il fedele deve rispondere – conclude Giordano: siamo sicuri che l’Assessore Latronico, sempre vicino e fedele sensibile alle tematiche della Chiesa, risolverà anche questo problema”.
