‘I only started decorating the flat for the lunar new year during the pandemic. I wanted to celebrate anything and everything because we were living in such a bleak time. Now the red and gold symbols of luck and good fortune come out each year. It’s a way for us to connect to our roots’.

‘This weekend, I’ll be celebrating with my daughter and her dad, decorating the house, sharing old traditions and making up some of our own. She keeps telling me that it’s the Year of the Easter Bunny, so we’ll probably have to do some Googling. ????’
