The Library of Congress is accepting applications for a Digital Strategy Director, SL-00, until November 14, 2022.
The Digital Strategy Director collaborates across all Service Units of the Library in developing the agency’s digital strategy, leading the Library’s implementation, reporting on progress, risk, and value to the Library, and educating all stakeholders on the opportunities presented to the Library by digital technologies.
The incumbent applies their knowledge of digital capabilities and technologies, as well as the Library mission, operations, and culture, to define and implement the Library’s Digital Strategy. The incumbent is a senior IT leader, able to conceptualize the application of digital solutions to Library strategic, financial, operational, and technical challenges.
The incumbent is also an implementer, able to work collaboratively with stakeholders, technologists, and project teams to effectively and accurately plan, implement, and deliver digital strategy initiatives to the Library. The incumbent works with the CIO to effectively define, integrate, manage, report, and deliver the value of digital strategies at the Library. The incumbent engages with all Service Units to leverage digital capabilities and technologies to further the mission of the Library.
