Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the Russian Military Historical Society Congress, marking the 10th anniversary of the society.
The message reads, in part:
“By continuing the lofty mission of the Imperial Russian Military Historical Society, the Russian Military
Historical Society unites, with its noble and popular tasks, scientists, members
of search teams and military history clubs, representatives of law enforcement
agencies and business circles, as well as those who sincerely love their
Motherland, are proud of the victories and accomplishments of their ancestors, and who are ready to dedicate themselves to the preservation of the military
chronicle of Russia. This responsible patriotic position of the Society members
is especially evident today, during the special military operation.
It is important that you are actively carrying out
research and implementing substantive educational, publishing and exhibition
projects dedicated to significant dates and key events of our history. And, of course, I would like to especially note your truly outstanding contribution to educating
the youth based on the values of patriotism, civic consciousness and commitment
to unshakable spiritual and moral ideals.”
