Annual Review 2021
The Annual Review 2021 shows how the EBRD put recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic at the heart of its activities for the year. We invested €10.4 billion across 413 projects, preparing our regions for a stronger, more resilient and sustainable future. More than three-quarters of that amount went to the private sector.
The report also outlines the Bank’s significant progress on the goals of our Strategic and Capital Framework, the EBRD’s blueprint for fostering robust recovery and reform.

Financial Report 2021
The Financial Report 2021 demonstrates why the EBRD continues to be rated AAA or equivalent, by all three major rating agencies. The Bank maintains a robust capital position, high levels of liquidity and enjoys the strong support of its members.
The Financial Report includes the approved and audited financial statements (required to be submitted under Article 27 of the Agreement Establishing the Bank and Section 13 of its By-Laws), as well as additional reporting and disclosures on the EBRD’s risk management, corporate governance and structure.

2021 was a milestone year for environmental and social sustainability and the EBRD was proud to contribute to global efforts to address climate change, project nature and advance equality.

GRI Report 2021
The GRI Report 2021 – Sustainability Disclosures provides our stakeholders with a comprehensive overview of the EBRD’s approach to environmental, social and governance issues.
The contents of this report were guided by consultation with stakeholders and staff to assess what information they deemed material. The GRI Report 2021 also covers topics that are not widely considered material, but which give a fuller picture of our approach to sustainability.
