o participate actively in the Parliament

be exercised in accordance with
those rules.
In the third place, the
General
Court holds that the processing of personal data by the Parliament
under the contested decision
is not unlawful or unfair. First, t
he contested decision, adopted on the
basis of the power of internal organisation arising under the TFEU,
constitutes
a legal basis for the
processing of the data contained in COVID certificates.
On that basis, the
General
Court notes
that that processing
pursu
EU general public interest
, namely, the protection of public health.
Secondly, the processing of the data is transparent and fair, as the Parliament first provided the
individuals concerned with infor
mation concerning further processing
of data for a
purpose other
than that for which those data were initially obtained
