(AGENPARL) – mer 18 dicembre 2024 As we begin this holiday season, I want to take a moment to reflect on the challenges we’ve faced this year—and the opportunities ahead.
In 2025, we confront urgent threats to our democratic institutions and civil rights. At the same time, the rise of transnational repression, threats to our shared planet and armed conflicts demand a fundamental rethinking of U.S. foreign policy. From addressing climate change and rising inequality to countering authoritarianism and corruption, the stakes have never been higher. At the Center for International Policy (CIP), we believe a better future is possible in the U.S. and globally. Building that future will require bold, strategic action rooted in justice, accountability, and the common good.
This year, thanks to supporters like you, we became the go-to source for transformative ideas—with publications like our recent Foreign Affairs essay outlining a new approach to foreign policy. We engaged leaders across the globe in meaningful dialogue. We also expanded our team, launched a new website and our International Policy Journalas an essential platform for progressive discourse, expanded our influence through the singular analysis of our Security Assistance Monitor and Climate and Militarism Program. We expanded our work on nuclear threats and the military uses of artificial intelligence. But we need your help to sustain and expand this critical work.
Will you help us continue the fight? Your gift today will empower us to:
Push back against authoritarianism and corruption at home and abroad.Advocate for equitable economic reform and principled international cooperation.Promote a human security framework that addresses shared challenges like climate change and political instability.DONATE NOW
CIP doesn’t rely on governments or corporations for funding. Instead, we count on individuals like you who share our vision for a more just and peaceful world.
Your support isn’t just a gift—it’s an investment in a future where policy serves people, not power. Together, we can achieve the change our world so desperately needs.
Thank you for standing with us this holiday season.
With gratitude,
