*FinCEN Issues Alert on Israeli Extremist Settler Violence Against Palestinians in the West Bank*
Today, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) is issuing an alert to U.S. financial institutions related to the financing of Israeli extremist settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank. The alert identifies transactional and behavioral red flags to assist financial institutions in identifying and reporting suspicious activity that finances such violence.
This alert is a complementary action to the Executive Order issued today and is designed to help financial institutions comply with their reporting requirements to FinCEN.
