(AGENPARL) – Tue 27 May 2025 EPA Regional Administrator Scott Mason and Oklahoma Secretary Blayne Arthur Host Forum with Local Farmers
DALLAS, TEXAS (May 27, 2025) – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Regional Administrator Scott Mason was hosted by Blayne Arthur, Oklahoma’s Secretary of Agriculture, at a stakeholder forum of local ranchers and farmers on ways EPA can better meet their needs.
“I grew up on a farm near Cordell, so I know from personal experience the commitment it takes to make a living off the land,” said Regional Administrator Scott Mason. “That same level of commitment is what the EPA is promising farmers and ranchers as we work to ensure the agriculture sector remains is thriving. I would like to thank them for their hard work that powers our nation’s economy and I want to thank Secretary Arthur for organizing this important event.”
“We appreciate Regional Administrator Mason and EPA taking the time to visit with our producers and hear directly from farmers and ranchers about their operations and the challenges they face in the field every day,” said Oklahoma Secretary of Agriculture Blayne Arthur.
As part of Administrator Zeldin’s Five Pillar Initiative, EPA is committed to working with farmers and ranchers, the original stewards of the environment, to ensure their work remains free of burdensome regulatory hurdles.
