The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, stated that the politicians of the “čaršija” and “secija” in Sarajevo have realized they’ve been dealt a blow by Interpol, and, now with unconditional support from the Republika Srpska opposition, are looking for a new way to engage with the leadership of the Republic.
“They can no longer get away with political persecution, so now, under orders from their mentors, they’ll invent criminal cases so we have to answer to the Prosecutor’s Office,” Višković said. “That’s why some opposition party members never leave the foreign embassies.”
He added that all sanctions imposed on individuals and companies in Republika Srpska so far were based on reports submitted by “our own people.”
“If you have even a shred of morality, dignity, and love for this country, stop doing stupid things. Sit down and talk.”
Višković mentioned that Nermin Nikšić, the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, was instructed to write to him regarding a landslide on Mount Trebević (in the municipality of Istočni Stari Grad) that is threatening Stari Grad in the Federation.
“Why now, when you have a problem, are you writing to Republika Srpska and to me, Radovan Višković, whom you call a criminal?” he asked.
Višković accused the “Troika” coalition and its partners of wanting to replace the state-level government under the pretext of speeding up the EU accession process, and claimed they portray SNSD as an obstacle to adopting and implementing pro-European laws.
“None of those laws were passed without the SNSD. The Troika from FBiH has not proposed a single pro-European law. I’ve listened to their promises. They’ve never kept any of them. Only Republika Srpska had the capacity to implement what was agreed upon.”
Višković concluded that the Troika and Republika Srpska’s opposition are incapable of achieving anything — neither in Republika Srpska nor in the FBiH.
“Are you planning to issue invoices to the Government and institutions of Republika Srpska for whom we work? Nothing surprises me anymore,” Višković emphasized.
