Launch of safeguards list for health worker recruitment
On Tuesday, the World Health Organization will release an updated Health workforce support and safeguards list.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant disruption to health services and has led to a rapid increased in the hiring of international health workers. But for some countries, the loss of key health personnel is impacting on their ability to achieve health security and universal health coverage (UHC).
This update will aim to highlight the countries vulnerable to the effects of this international recruitment. The list will be available [here](https://worldhealthorganization.cmail19.com/t/d-l-zhjijtl-iitylyihjr-u/) in due course and a press release will also be issued next week to mark the launch.
