Thursdays for Venetians
Every Thursday in December, from 2 pm to 6 pm, the museum grants free admission to residents of the City of Venice and those born in Venice, as well as to students at universities, Adult Learning Centers (C.P.I.A.), and Universities of the Third Age in the City of Venice. An early Christmas gift for Venetians who wish to spend an hour or two among the great masterpieces in Palazzo Venier dei Leoni.

Double Meaning: Tactile Tours at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection

The tactile tour and workshop program for visually impaired visitors continues. Participants can take part in a tactile tour, followed by a workshop led by blind artist Felice Tagliaferri. Furthermore, a tactile catalogue is always available, free of charge, at the museum’s ticket desk. Double Meaning is made possible with the support of Florim.

The third and last meeting of the online lecture series dedicated to three major Surrealist collections in museums in Jerusalem, Houston, and Edinburgh. On December 14, Patrick Elliot, Chief Curator, and Kirstie Meehan, Archivist, at the National Galleries of Scotland, present the story of art patrons Roland Penrose and Gabrielle Keiller, whose precious collections form the core of the Surrealist holdings of the National Galleries of Scotland.
