(AGENPARL) – Roma, 07 gennaio 2021 – “L’assalto al Campidoglio degli Stati Uniti oggi è inaccettabile. Illegalità e sommosse — qui o in giro per il mondo — è sempre inaccettabile. Ho viaggiato in molti paesi e sostengo sempre il diritto di ogni essere umano di protestare pacificamente per le proprie convinzioni e le proprie cause”. Scrive il segretario di Stato, Mike Pompeo su twitter.

The storming of the U.S. Capitol today is unacceptable. Lawlessness and rioting — here or around the world — is always unacceptable. I have travelled to many countries and always support the right of every human being to protest peacefully for their beliefs and their causes.

“Ma la violenza, che mette a rischio la sicurezza degli altri, compresi quelli incaricati di fornire sicurezza a tutti noi, è intollerabile sia in patria che all’estero. Rendiamo rapidamente giustizia ai criminali coinvolti in questi disordini”, prosegue Pompeo

But violence, putting at risk the safety of others including those tasked with providing security for all of us, is intolerable both at home and abroad. Let us swiftly bring justice to the criminals who engaged in this rioting.
