Child and youth participation for Europe
At the event, the first mid-term results of the work to promote child participation in the project partner countries (the Czech Republic, Finland, Iceland, Portugal and Slovenia) will be presented, with ten young delegates from these countries taking part. Irish youth groups and key actors, who have contributed to numerous initiatives in the field of child participation will share good practices. Special attention will be given to today’s context presenting challenges for children, in particular the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

It is a continuation of work initiated by the ICC programme on this topic in 2020. This webinar will discuss and explore data strategies, data practices, as well as guidance and training needs.
The agenda features speakers from Belgium and Ireland (national level) as well as from Barcelona (Spain), Kirklees (United Kingdom), Montreal (Canada) and Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
Working languages will be English and French.
24 May, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will notify in writing seven judgments concerning Romania, Russia, and Turkey.
Tobias Flessenkemper, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade, will address both events, which medias are invited to attend (from 10 a.m.). Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
25 May, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will notify in writing 51 judgments and/or decisions concerning Albania, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, France, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
