On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the government and people of Monaco on Sovereign Prince’s Day.
For more than 150 years, Monaco has been a friend and trusted partner of the United States.  Our governments collaborate on promoting human rights, liberty, and especially on addressing the climate crisis and its impact on ocean ecosystems, where H.S.H. Prince Albert II is a leading voice.  I applaud His Serene Highness’ commitment to protecting the planet for future generations.  I look forward to further strengthening this close friendship as we work together to advance our core values.  The United States sends warm wishes to the people of Monaco for a joyous, peaceful, and prosperous year ahead.
