Hungary’s deepening EU values crisis: press conference on Tuesday at 16.30 CET [2]
Following the vote on the second interim report on Hungary’s persistent rule of law failings, lead MEPs will speak to the media.
The second interim report [3] on Hungary’s deteriorating rule of law situation and its breaches of EU values is set to be adopted by Parliament on Tuesday. The draft text highlights continuing concerns about the state of EU values in the country, including reports of judicial interference, corruption, the misuse of EU funds, and government pressure on civil society.

How*: Accredited journalists can attend the press conference in person. Those wishing to participate actively and ask questions remotely can do so via Interactio [9] . The press conference will be streamed live and be made available on demand on Parliament’s Multimedia Centre [10] website.
Using Interactio to ask questions*
Interactio is only supported on iPad (with the Safari browser) and Mac/Windows (with the Google Chrome browser).

Journalists who have never used Interactio before are asked to connect 30 minutes before the start of the press conference to perform a connection test. IT assistance can be provided if necessary.
