In response to a letter sent by the Italian Parliamentary News Agency “Agenparl” regarding the transnational Masonic Lodge Flos Mundi, the Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, Dr. William M. S. Semple, issued an official statement declaring the Grand Lodge of Scotland’s complete lack of involvement in the matter.
In his communication, Dr. Semple stated:
“The Grand Lodge of Scotland has no knowledge, no locus, no involvement and no responsibility whatsoever for the body mentioned in your correspondence. We cannot assist you in this regard.”
With these words, the Grand Lodge of Scotland emphasized that it has no knowledge, jurisdiction, involvement, or responsibility regarding the activities of the Flos Mundi Lodge, confirming that it cannot provide assistance or additional information on the subject.
Agenparl, which contacted the Grand Lodge of Scotland to further investigate the role and activities of Flos Mundi, acknowledged the official position and confirmed that this statement will be accurately reported in its analyses and publications, with the goal of ensuring transparency and accuracy in its reporting.
Furthermore, Agenparl has expressed its availability to host any communications, statements, or interviews from the Grand Lodge of Scotland, should it wish to publicly address topics of interest or delve deeper into subjects related to Freemasonry.
The Flos Mundi case continues to attract attention, both for its implications within the Masonic world and for its potential legal and public order ramifications. However, it is now clear that the Grand Lodge of Scotland has no connection to this transnational lodge, which remains under scrutiny from Masonic authorities and public opinion.
