The Library of Congress is accepting applications for a Paralegal Specialist, GS-09-11, until December 19, 2022.

The position is Paralegal Specialist and reports to the Chief Copyright Royalty Judge.
GS-09 Level
This position acts as hearing room clerk during hearings, organizing and maintaining exhibits and other documents presented at the hearing, and handling other hearing room logistics; manages the judges’ electronic filing and case management system; serves as a liaison with counsel for participants in CRB proceedings; manages the logistics of rulemaking proceedings, including serving as a liaison with the Office of the Federal Register.
GS-11 Level
This position acts as hearing room clerk during hearings, organizing and maintaining exhibits and other documents presented at the hearing, and handling other hearing room logistics; manages the judges’ electronic filing and case management system; serves as a liaison with counsel for participants in CRB proceedings; manages the logistics of rulemaking proceedings, including serving as a liaison with the Office of the Federal Register; prepares the
administrative record for appeals of the judges’ determinations to the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit; performs legal research and analysis; monitors dockets and filings; and maintains legal files.
