Integrated Support Services is offering an opportunity for a qualified individual at the GS-12 level to serve on a 120 day Detail or Temporary promotion. This individual will perform the role of Program Specialist, GS-0301-12.
Integrated Support Services (ISS) is part of The Library of Congress enabling infrastructure. ISS provides support to the Library community in the areas of Facility Services, Operations, Logistics Services, Health and Safety Services and Customer Experience.
Program Specialists within ISS provide support in the following manner:
– Plan and Report
– Monitor and Track due dates deadlines and deliverables
– Data Collection
– Liaison Activities
– Research
– Special projects
– Preparation of written reports and communications
The Program Specialist under the supervision of the Division Chief manages a wide range of responsibilities to include:
– Time and attendance
– Management and Planning
– Database maintenance and management
– Meeting minutes
– Trend Analysis

– Ability to utilize computer technology with proficiency in Excel pivot tables
– Ability to manage, organize and execute projects
– Ability to interact and communicate collaboratively with all levels of an organization
– Ability to conduct Benchmarking
