The Resources, Science and Industry Division of the Congressional Research Service is seeking an Analyst in Transportation and Industry with a focus on the automotive industry. The analyst will cover a large and highly visible industrial sector that is in the midst of a technological transformation. The candidate should understand the economics of the industry and be able to evaluate how firms and workers might be affected by a wide range of regulatory and legislative policy issues, such as trade agreements, vehicle safety requirements, electrification, and environmental regulations.
