Secondi in qualifica, colpiti in gara!
Second in qualifying, hit in the race!
Gara1 a Most è stata complicata e pericolosa per Althea Racing e Federico Caricasulo, centrato a poche curve dal via dal turco Oncu in una gara preceduta da qualifiche in cui aveva sfiorato la pole.
E’ evidente che le aspettative per la gara erano ben altre ed è plausibile che sarebbe stato possibile giocarsi la vittoria ma è altrettanto chiaro che il brutto incidente ha spostato l’attenzione sui pericoli della manovra non necessaria di Oncu e quello che sarebbe potuto succedere in seguito ad uno strike assolutamente pericoloso.
Al Centro Medico su Federico sono state riscontrate alcune contusioni ma il pilota sta bene ed è pronto per la gara di domani.

Le qualifiche sono andate molto bene e abbiamo fatto un gran tempo, tutta farina del nostro sacco. La pole mi è sfuggita perché ho tirato altri piloti, ma sono comunque molto contento.
Per la gara non c’è molto da dire. Il solito pilota ha fatto il solito numero standendo tutti quelli che aveva davanti. E’ un vero peccato perchè avevamo il passo per stare davanti. Non so se sarebbe stato possibile vincere ma la sensazione è quella. Ci riproveremo domani.
Qualifying went very well and we made a great lap time, all our own nerit. I missed the pole because I’ve pulled other riders, but I’m still very happy.
There is not much to say about the race. The usual rider made the usual move by hitting everyone in front of him. It’s a real shame because we had the pace to stay ahead. I don’t know if it would have been possible to win but that is the feeling. We will try again tomorrow.
Vedendo i tempi delle qualifiche e successivamente anche quelli della gara, oggi abbiamo perso una grande occasione per fare un grande risultato.
Federico è sempre misurato nelle sue dichiarazioni ma oggi era forte in tutti i settori e molto carico anche dal punto di vista agonistico.
Ha guidato in maniera molto fluida sin da ieri e quindi aveva veramente il margine per giocarsi la gara e vincerla. E’ un peccato salire di livello e di morale e poi trovarsi una moto nella schiena per una manovra insensata. Al momento mi interessa la salute del pilota e penso alla rivincita sulla sorte che potrà prendersi domani.

He has been driving very smoothly since yesterday and so he really had the margin to play the race and win it. At the moment I am interested in the rider’s health and I am thinking of the revenge that he can take tomorrow on the bad luck he’s had today
