Today, Toronto Paramedic Services Chief Bikram Chawla joined members of Toronto Paramedic Services' Senior Leadership Team, representatives from the City's emergency services and partners to welcome 47 Primary Care Paramedics to the City of Toronto. The ceremony highlighted the City's continued commitment to public safety and investment in emergency services for Torontonians.
Having successfully completed a comprehensive orientation and training program, the graduates now join Toronto Paramedic Services' dedicated team of professionals delivering exceptional pre-hospital care across the city. They bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and clinical expertise that will help strengthen emergency medical response for Toronto's residents and visitors.
As emergency call demand continues to grow, these 45 graduates will play an important role in helping ensure high-quality, patient-centered care is available when and where it's needed most.
