Council of Europe at COP30: Advancing human rights, democracy, and climate action
The Republic of Moldova takes over the Presidency of the Committee of Ministers
Christopher Cutajar, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta will review the achievements of Malta’s Presidency before officially handing over to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Mihai Popșoi, who will then outline the priorities for the Moldovan Presidency.

This lecture will precede the Dies Academicus ceremony on Saturday 15 November, during which Alain Berset will receive an honorary doctorate from the Faculty of Science and Medicine.

13 November, Strasbourg – The European Court of Human Rights will notify in writing 65 judgments and/or decisions concerning Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Türkiye and Ukraine.
