City of Toronto to host Small Business Forum 2025 to help entrepreneurs thrive in a global economy
The City of Toronto will host its annual Small Business Forum, on Wednesday, October 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Meridian Hall.
The Forum is a full-day event to support small business operators, this year’s theme, “Small Business, Big World,” will bring together entrepreneurs, business leaders and key stakeholders to explore how Toronto’s small businesses can navigate and thrive in today’s evolving global economy.
The Forum is part of the City’s TradeTO initiative which advances trade diversification efforts and helps businesses expand into new markets to strengthen Toronto’s global connections and long-term economic growth.
The event will include:
– Main stage programming with spotlight speakers, a fireside chat with Sara Wilshaw, Chief Trade Commissioner of Canada, and expert panels
– Speed mentoring sessions where seasoned entrepreneurs and global business experts share practical advice, answer questions and spark new ideas
– A vibrant trade show featuring more than 60 exhibitors, showcasing a diverse range of small business services and product providers
The City is anticipating more than 2,000 attendees this year. Participants will gain valuable insights into changing global trade patterns, access to small business resources and government programs, and opportunities to network with peers, mentors and industry leaders.
The Forum will also highlight the City’s Small Business Enterprise Centre, which offers year-round programs and services to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.
