Congress to observe local elections in Kosovo*
The delegation will meet with members of the European Union Office in Kosovo*, representatives of the international community and of the diplomatic corps, members of the Central Election Commission, as well as the Executive Director of the Association of Kosovo Municipalities and the Mayor of Pristina. The delegation will also hold panel discussions with media and NGO representatives, and attend briefings with candidates and representatives of political parties.
On election day, four Congress teams will be deployed randomly throughout Kosovo* to observe electoral procedures at polling stations.
A press release with preliminary findings will be published on Monday 13 October, 12:00, on the Congress website.

The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities is an institution of the Council of Europe, responsible for strengthening local and regional democracy in its 46 member states. Composed of two chambers – the Chamber of Local Authorities and the Chamber of Regions – and three committees, it brings together 612 elected officials representing more than 130 000 local and regional authorities.
