The 2025 edition provides novel, cross-country data for over 25 economies, including the first-ever estimates for Brazil and updated insights for India, offering a deeper understanding of the role of intangible investment across diverse economies.
In addition, global business leaders will discuss the emerging role of AI in shaping intangible assets, and how policy and strategy must adapt in an evolving innovation economy.

About the World Intangible Investment Highlights
World Intangible Investment Highlights (https://wipo.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=ebfb4bd1ae698020adc01a4ce&id=c29329afc5&e=33ca93a169), together with underlying data from the Global INTAN-Invest Database, offers novel, up-to-date cross-country, quarterly and annual measures of investment into intangible assets, including those not included in official statistics. The statistics cover a range of high-income and middle-income economies.
Intangible assets are key drivers of innovation, productivity and economic growth. Despite their importance, our understanding of the size and impact of intangible assets remains limited due to gaps and lags in the available data. More timely data with better coverage beyond high-income economies is essential to help inform pro-growth policies.
