For research, inspiration and enjoyment
We welcome hundreds of thousands of researchers each year, filling our Reading Rooms with the quiet rustle of pages turning, knowledge being thoroughly absorbed and new ideas forming. But, like many libraries, we do a lot more. We also put on magnificent exhibitions and activities for families, publish our own books and lend a helping hand to businesses. This month why not explore everything else we have to offer?
Dig into centuries of gardening
Our new exhibition, Unearthed: The Power of Gardening, comes into bloom at St Pancras next week. Drawing on our extraordinary horticultural and botanical collections, it features a fascinating array of books, manuscripts, artworks, photographs and historic tools.
Alongside the exhibition you can also discover free displays in partner libraries near you ( https://britishlibraryemails.bl.uk/c/AQiz6A8Qn4R5GOmfuwUgn4frG9uVn1Wv0YjOWWGdlnnalH4Zich4gYpLJ2lZiJC73-yp ).

Marvel at the gardens of the future
Visit our Entrance Hall at St Pancras this month to find out more about the gardens of the future. In a free display 10 award-winning garden designers have taken over our hall to present original designs for future-focused gardens. Their ideas respond to changing climates, urban development and societal needs.
