The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that he informed the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, about the unconstitutional measures taken by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Prosecutor’s Office against the highest officials of Republika Srpska.
Dodik explained that he briefed Putin on the legal and political situation affecting the President of Srpska, the Speaker of the National Assembly, and the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, while also highlighting the actions of the High Representative, which he described as illegal.
“We have full mutual understanding on these matters, and Russia is well aware of the pressures and violations we are facing,” Dodik said.
The Srpska leader emphasized that his government will continue to defend the interests of its entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina and that he values the support of the Russian Federation in countering decisions that he believes undermine the sovereignty of Republika Srpska.
“Our position is clear: we will not accept external interference that threatens our rights guaranteed by peace agreements,” Dodik concluded.
